Cyrus Has been playing music to acoustic music audiences for nearly forty years. He has performed virtually every week since 1972.
He is the founding member of The Cache Valley Drifters, The Acousticats, The Cyrus Clarke Band, and The Expedition.
Clarke has performed in many major concert and festival venues from California and across the mainland. However, throughout his career Cyrus has also formed a passion for playing small venues, coffeehouses, and nightclubs.
His club song list includes every style from Sinatra to Train. He plays Pop, Reggae, Roots, Rock, and Island Style with equal passion and loves the sound of his guitar. His concert career is based on original ensembles, compositions and arrangements.
Clarke is a songwriter and prolific publisher with over fifty published titles to his credit. His music has been recorded by Kate Wolf, David West, The Phil Salazar Band, and all of his groups.
The acoustic guitar forms the basis of his sound and it is his passion. Cyrus has always been true to his acoustic roots. He spends his spare time writing, recording, and ripping it up on his Martin, Taylor, or Po'mahina uses.
Cyrus currently lives on the island of Maui.
